Speaker line-up announced for Frontiers in Gut Microbiome Research digital event

The panel of speakers at upcoming gut health science digital learning event, ‘Frontiers in Gut Microbiome Research: Application in Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing’ has been revealed by co-hosts Clasado Biosciences (Clasado) and the Quadram Institute.

Taking place on 22nd March, the virtual event aims to arm healthcare professionals and academics with a deeper knowledge of how the latest gut microbiome science connects directly with health and wellbeing.

Dr Sophie Castle, Nutritionist & HCP Engagement Manager at Clasado, comments: “With our new HCP event in March, we want to offer a number of different perspectives on gut microbiome research, as it’s a fascinating though complex story to tell.

“We have secured an esteemed panel of speakers through the day that will share the latest in gut health research and associated science through their own lenses and fields of interest. Our panel, which features extensive expertise from our co-host the Quadram Institute, brings a lot of real-world experience to the table and it’s shaping up to be an unmissable event for healthcare professionals. The event has been endorsed by the Association for Nutrition, so delegates will also gain valuable CPD points for attending”

The panel for the day’s events includes:

  • Dr Caroline Childs RNutr
  • Dr Stephen Robinson
  • Dr Liangzi Zhang
  • Laura Tilt RD
  • Prof. Lindsay Hall
  • Dr Neil Williams RNutr
  • Dr Aimeé Parker

Dr Castle continues: “As patient and consumer interest in gut health continues to surge, there’s a real need for education around the latest science and what it tells us about health – not just today, but in the future. With Frontiers in Gut Microbiome Research, we’re looking to help healthcare professionals and academics boost knowledge and turn it into action.

“We’re pleased to welcome a panel of speakers that represents a true cross section of the gut microbiome research field. Delegates will get first-hand accounts of today’s gut microbiome knowledge from different perspectives, which paints a much broader picture of what we know, how and why. After the success of last year’s inaugural event, we’re pleased to welcome attendees once again in what is set to be a fantastic learning opportunity.”

Ticket to attend the event are available to book through Eventbrite. To find out more about Clasado Biosciences, please visit www.clasado.com
